RB2S IT Services — small businesses, tradespeople and local authorities

Your IT, looked after by people who turn up.

Managed IT, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, Microsoft 365, backup, networks, printing and multimedia. Our experienced staff know your IT estate and answer when you call. On-site support is limited to the Centre Alsace area, in France; our hosting and advisory work serves clients beyond the border. The monthly fee is known in advance and the commitments are written into the contract.

Our expertise

Nine disciplines, one supplier to call.

Most expensive outages come from a blind spot between two suppliers: the network one, the desktop one, the backup one. We cover the lot, which removes the question of who is responsible.

Artificial intelligence

Useful assistants, kept under control

Copilot in Microsoft 365, writing and document-search assistants, automation of repetitive tasks. We scope the uses with you, we configure access so that your confidential documents do not end up anywhere, and we train teams on their own files. The bigger decisions are handled with RB2S Conseil.

Managed IT

Your IT estate monitored and kept up to date

Monitoring of workstations and servers, patching and updates, incident handling, hardware and licence inventory, renewals anticipated. Monthly fee known in advance.

Cybersecurity

Protecting before having to repair

Managed next-generation antivirus, firewall and filtering, multi-factor authentication, network segmentation, staff awareness and a written procedure to follow if an incident occurs.

Cloud and Microsoft 365

Email and files, properly configured

Migration of mailboxes and documents, Teams and SharePoint, management of licences, access and sharing rules, joiners and leavers handled cleanly.

Backup and continuity

Restores that are tested, not promised

Local and off-site backup, encrypted, with regular restore tests and a written report. Your recovery plan is stated in hours and in data lost, not in intentions.

Networks and Wi-Fi

From the cable to the rack

Cabling and patch racks, routers, VLANs, business Wi-Fi, VPN and multi-site links, fibre connections. We also handle the low-voltage side.

User support

Someone who picks up

Telephone support and remote takeover, on-site call-outs within the Centre Alsace area, response times written into the contract. Your users always speak to the same people.

Copiers and reprographics

Printing, managed end to end

Multifunction copiers installed and networked, scanning to your folders or your mailbox, cost-per-page contract, consumables tracked. One-off reprographics work as well: print runs, drawings, binding.

Professional multimedia

Meeting rooms and displays

Meeting room equipment — screen, video conferencing, audio —, digital signage in reception or in the window, projection, and all the network and video cabling that goes with it.

Who comes out

Experienced staff, not a call centre.

Our technicians and system administrators each have their speciality — desktop, network, Microsoft 365, security, printing — and know each other well enough to hand over a job without losing it. Every client has a named lead who knows their IT estate and its history, with a second person covering holidays.

A named lead

Always the same person

Your lead knows your setup, your business and the hours that suit you. You do not explain your context again on every call.

Specialists

The right trade on the right subject

A firewall, an email migration and a networked copier do not call for the same skills. We put the person who knows the subject on it.

A wider view

Backed by our advisory practice

Structural choices — architecture, security, hosting — are decided with RB2S Conseil, which works on the same subjects for larger organisations.

Our method

We look first, we propose afterwards.

01

Audit

A review of the IT estate, the network, the backups and the risks, carried out on site. You receive a written report, in plain language, which you keep even if you do not work with us.

First meeting, no obligation
02

Plan

A costed, prioritised roadmap that separates what is urgent, what can wait, and what has no reason to be replaced. No unnecessary hardware sold.

Quotation within 48 h
03

Implementation

A phased rollout, outside working hours where your business requires it, with a rollback planned at every step. You always know where the work stands.

Schedule agreed with you
04

Monitoring

Continuous supervision, patching, verified backups, a one-page monthly report and a quarterly review to decide the year's investments.

Monthly contract, 3 months' notice

Managed IT contracts

Three levels, according to what an outage would cost you.

Each tier includes the one before it. The right level does not depend on your size but on how long you can carry on without your tools.

Essential

Micro-businesses, tradespeople, professional practices

The essentials so you stop simply putting up with it: the estate is monitored, up to date and protected, and someone answers when things go wrong.

  • Monitoring of workstations and servers
  • Managed patching and updates
  • Managed next-generation antivirus
  • Remote support during working hours
  • Inventory of hardware and licences
  • Monthly report

Peace of Mind

Small and medium businesses, 10 to 50 workstations

The most common level: we add genuinely tested backups, managed email and on-site call-outs.

  • Everything in Essential
  • Supervised backup with tested restores
  • Microsoft 365 management, accounts and access
  • Managed firewall and business Wi-Fi
  • On-site call-outs included
  • Multi-factor authentication deployed

Resilience

Organisations that cannot afford to stop

For those who can put a figure on a day of downtime: your data is replicated in our machine room and the recovery plan is genuinely proven.

  • Everything in Peace of Mind
  • Off-site replication in our Sélestat infrastructure
  • Written recovery plan, tested every year
  • Detection and response across the whole estate
  • Extended on-call cover and priority response
  • Half-yearly security review

Pricing per workstation and per server, set after the audit: it depends on the number of users, the existing estate and the level chosen. The quotation is firm and the contract is monthly, with three months' notice.

Service area

On site in under an hour.

We come out within roughly fifty kilometres of Sélestat, which covers most of Centre Alsace, the Vosges foothills and the plain. On-site support does not extend beyond that area: anything further afield, including across the Rhine, is by arrangement. Our hosting and advisory work, on the other hand, is available wherever you are based.

Frequently asked questions

What is worth knowing before you sign.

Do you work with very small organisations?
Yes. The Essential tier is sized for three to ten workstations, and many tradespeople and professional practices need nothing more. We would rather turn down work that serves no purpose than sell an oversized contract — that is what keeps a client for ten years.
Do we have to replace everything to work with you?
No, and that is exactly what the audit is for. We take the estate as it is, identify what will last a few more years and what represents a real risk, and spread the replacements out. We are not tied to any manufacturer.
Who will actually come to us?
A named lead, backed by a second person who knows your file. The names and direct contact details are in the contract, and you are told if the lead changes.
How quickly do you respond?
The response times are written into the contract and depend on the level chosen: remote handling within the hour during working hours, and an on-site call-out the same day or within four working hours for the higher tiers. On-site call-outs apply within our Centre Alsace service area. We only commit to what we can deliver with the staff we have.
Do you take over an estate already managed by another supplier?
Yes, that is the most common case. We carry out the inventory, recover the access details and the documentation, and handle the transition without interruption. If the outgoing supplier does not cooperate, we rebuild what is missing and tell you about it, rather than letting you find out six months later.
What happens if we want to stop?
A monthly contract with three months' notice. We return your data and the documentation of your estate — configurations, passwords, inventory — so that your next supplier can pick it up without starting from scratch. Our job is to hand over a clean file, not to keep you.
Is AI really for a company our size?
Often yes, but not everywhere. The clearest gains we see are in drafting repetitive documents, searching through years of archives, and handling emails and quotations. We start with two or three measurable uses, with written rules on what must never be submitted to an assistant. If your confidentiality requires it, the model can run on a dedicated machine in our machine room, without your documents leaving France.
Where are our backups hosted?
In our machine room in Sélestat, in France, encrypted, on hardware we own — a building with a multi-fibre connection, 8 Gb/s per link, partly powered by its own photovoltaic roof. The infrastructure details are published on the machine room page.

First meeting

Let us start by looking at your setup.

Describe your situation in a few lines — how many workstations, what is going wrong, what worries you. We reply within twenty-four working hours and we offer a first meeting on site, with no obligation and no sales chasing.
